A new variant of Sony’s Xperia Z4 was unveiled this week –
the Xperia Z4v which is heading to the US under Verizon.
The phone is built around a 5.2-inch WQHD display with
built-in Qi and PMA wireless charging. Sony has jammed a Snapdragon 810 chipset
with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. The device also boasts with IP65
and IP68 certification which means the handset is water and dust resistant.
Just like other members of the company’s Z family, the
Xperia Z4v is packing Sony’s Trilumons display and X-Reality engine for its
display. The pphone also comes with a 3000mAh battery, a 20.7MP camera at the
back and a 5.1MP snapper on the front.
There’s no word yet on pricing and availability.
