Kodak is following Polaroid’s lead by venturing into the smartphone business with its brand new IM5 that was announced a few days ago at CES.

The IM5 is built as a mid-range phone and as such sports mid-level specs. The handset comes with a 5-inch HD display, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5MP selfie snapper on the front, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage and a 1.7GHz octa-core processor.

The phone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, but will later be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop shortly after its launch. The phone will also have a number of photo-related apps giving users the power to edit, print and share images on the fly.

Kodak has given word that the phone will land in markets in Europe towards the end of March followed by an international rollout. The IM5 will be priced at around $270.
