CellPrime, the company behind the local smartphone brand
CloudFone is expanding its business this 2016 through different partnerships
which the company hopes will transform them from a typical phone maker into a
digital lifestyle brand that offers customers not only hardware but also
multi-media content.
At a recent event in Metro Manila, the company announced to
members of the media that it has inked deals with various international
companies to expand its offerings in the Philippines market. These companies
include Chinese firms Tinno and Gionee as well as the Korean automaker Hyundai.
Apart from hardware partners, Cellprime is also working with
content creators as well as lifestyle brands like Disney, Star Wars, Marvel,
PBA, NBA and Windows 1|Xbox to give consumers a more immersive mobile
experience.

The company was also eager to announce its newest products
as well as products from their partners that will also be offered at
Cloudfone’s concept stores nationwide. These include the new Cloudfone Excite
Prime, two new members of the company’s Thrill series – the Thrill HD and
Thrill Lite, Gionee’s
Elife E8, S
Plus, Elife P5W and Hyundai’s Aero smartphone.
Cloudfone was most proud of its new Excite and Thrill models
which are all made from metal. The Excite Prime model comes with an octa-core
processor, a 64GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM for just Php3,999.
On the other hand, the Thrill Lite comes with a quad-core
CPU, 8GB of internal storage and will sell for Php1,999. For Php1,000 more, you
can get the Cloudfone Thrill HD which has a quad-core processor, an 8MP+5MP
camera combo and 1GB of RAM.
Other notable products showcased during the event include
Cloudfone’s CloudLite series of feature phones as well as the Star Wars and
Spotify-themed handsets.
