Oppo’s has just announced the newest member of its F-series with the F1. The handset is built around a 5-inch display with 720p resolution and is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon processor.
To be precise, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 616 chipset with a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, an Adreno 405 GPU, 16GB of expandable storage and 3GB of RAM. There’s a 13MP camera at the back with an f/2.2 lens and single LED flash, and an 8MP selfie snapper with an f/2.0 lens.
Oppo has also decided to include a number of software optimization in the F1’s camera app including Beautify 3.0 interface, 8 live color filters and the ability to use the screen as a flash when in low-light conditions.
The device is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 2.1 on top. Juice is delivered by a 2500mAh battery and there’s also room for two SIM cards. The Oppo F1 is now available in Vietnam for around $290, with other markets to get the device shortly after.
