A new Panasonic phone has emerged in India that’s specifically
aimed for enterprise users.
The smartphone has a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution
of 1280 x 720 pixels and comes with support for Enterprise Mobility Management
platform (EMM) Android for Work.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset with 2GB of RAM
and 16GB of expandable storage. There’s also a 13MP camera at the back as well
as a 5MP selfie camera at the front. A 2500mAh battery provides the juice to
power the device while Android 5.1 Lollipop with Panasonic’s FitHome UI takes
care off the operating system.
A fingerprint scanner is also located at the back, which
should provide the primary security function to allow users to securely access
EMM.
The phone will be offered in two color options: Royal Gold
or Metallic Grey and will cost around $180 in India.
