Looking for an affordable smartphone with a decent screen
size and internals? Gionee’s new Pioneer P3S could be the device that will
fulfill this need.
The Chinese manufacturer’s new budget handset features a
4.5-inch FWVGA display and comes with a Mediatek MT6582 chipset with 1.3GHz
quad-core processor, a Mali T400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable
storage.
At the back there’s a 5MP autofocus camera and a 2000mAh
battery. The phone also come with a VGA selfie snapper, 3G connectivity and two
SIM card slots. Surprisingly, the Pioneer P3S will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop
with the company’s Amigo 3.1 launcher.
Gioneer plans to sell the Pioneer P3S initially in India
this week for about $90.
