If you’re considering to buy a new compact and handy Windows-powered
2-in-1 and you’re thinking of cashing out some serious money for the Microsoft
Surface Pro (which may or may not be available in your country), you might want
to hold on to your money for a while and check first the alternatives that
Microsoft’s partners are offering.
We’ve seen Lenovo’s
offering last week and today, Dell is presenting its option – the Dell
Venue 11 Pro 7000.
The 2-in-1 is powered by Intel’s Core M processors in
various configurations. Users can choose to install 4GB to 8GB of memory and up
to 256GB of on-board storage. Graphics performance is supplied by an Intel GT2
Graphics paired with the device’s 10.8-inch Full HD display.
Dell has also baked an 8MP+2MP camera combo into the device
as well as Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC connectivity, a micro HDMI port, a USB
3.0 port, integrated dual-microphone array, speakers, a number of sensors
including a gyroscope, G-sensor and proximity sensor, and an option for LTE
connectivity.
A number of accessories have also been prepared for the
Venue 11 Pro 7000 including a keyboard dock that comes with its own battery to
extend the usage of the tablet, a dock that allows users to connect the device
with more I/O devices, a folio case, a slim keyboard similar to Microsoft’s touch
& type covers and an active stylus.
The Dell Venue 11 Pro 7000 will be available within the
month (estimated shipment date at November 18) starting at $799.
