Samsung has just announced the Galaxy Grand Prime model last
week in India, and it looks like there’s already a new Galaxy Prime handset ready
to be announced. And just like the Grand Prime, this new phone will make its
debut in India.
Indian retailer Flipkart has prematurely put on pre-order
the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. Moreover, several versions of the handset have
passed through TENAA including a dual-SIM version and another with LTE
connectivity.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Core Prime packs a 4.5-inch
LCD panel with WVGA resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a
5MP+2MP camera combo, 8GB of on-board storage and a 2000mAh battery.
There’s no word yet on when Samsung plans to start shipping
the Galaxy Core Prime, but pricing will be around $140 as per Flipkart’s
listing.
