OM One Raises the Bar When it Comes to BT Speakers

Bluetooth speakers are a dime a dozen these days. So if you’re a manufacturer who’s entering the market, it takes a lot to stand out from the crowd. One particular company that has managed to do up the ante for Bluetooth speakers is OM with its ONE speakers.
Although there are already a number of speakers in the market sporting a spherical design, the OM ONE comes with a unique magnetic base that allows the speaker to levitate up to 1.2 inches when in use.
The speaker features 75mm audio drivers encased in a sphere 6.3-inches in diameter and weighs around 1.3 lbs. The One comes with a built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery which can last up to 15 hours of continuous play. The speaker also has a built-in microphone allowing users to use the device as a speakerphone. The base unit is powered with an AC adapter.
The OM One is now available for pre-order for $179 in black, white or disco ball. OM expects to begin shipping the first batch of One speakers by December.
