Vertu’s Signature Touch Ups the Ante on Specs for Ultra Luxury Smartphones

Ultra luxury phones have always been criticized for their underwhelming specs despite the oftentimes ridiculous price tag they commend. Now, it seems some of them have heard realized this and created a smartphone whose specs is at least at par with most flagship models from Samsung, LG or Sony.

The Vertu Signature Touch is the first among the elite group of phones to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip. The phone will be powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core CPU which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage; and will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box

The handset has a 4.7-inch Full HD display which is covered by sapphire glass. There’s a 13MP camera at the back with dual-LED flash, tuned by another high-end brand – Hasselblad, a 2.1MP camera at the front and speakers built by Bang & Olufsen.

The Signature Touch has LTE, a 2275mAh battery and support Qi wireless charging. Just like other phones in the Vertu range, the handset will still have access to the company’s exclusive concierge service and will be built using exquisite materials such as Grade 5 titanium an a variety of leather options.

In case you’re interested in getting a Vertu Signature Touch, prepare to shell out at least $11,300 or approximately 495000PHP.
