Google has already signed a deal with Italian design company
Luxottica
to help give its smart HUD, the looks that will make less awkward to wear in
public. However, we are yet to see a stylized Glass born from this partnership.
Luckily the search giant has teamed up with one of America’s style icons –
Diane von Fürstenberg which resulted in the creation of the DVF Google Glass
collection.
The DVF collection consists of five new frames and eight new
shades for those who want a bit of style in their headsets. The collection will
be available to Glass Explorers in the US starting June 23 and can be purchased
directly from Google’s online store or from Net-a-porter.
Google hasn't announced any details about its price but it’s
a safe bet that it will go for more than $1500 which was the price of the
regular Google Glass when it went on sale a few weeks ago. In case you don’t
have the cash, the company’s Titanium
collection will also be offered on June 23.
