Last week was incredibly busy for The Techie Lifestyle
especially with multiple announcements in the wake of Computex in Taiwan and
Apple’s WWDC in the US. But now, we’re back to our old tricks again, waiting
for news and leaks all over the internet.
We’ll start things off with news from China and two
unannounced handsets from Huawei. On one hand we have the Huawei Mulan whose
photos were leaked via the Chinese blogging site Weibo. The image shows the
side of the device and its thin profile.
The information about the Mulan’s specs was courtesy of
Antutu benchmark. According to the app’s record, the handset will have a 1080p
display, Huawei’s Hisilicon Kirin 920 chip with a 1.3GHz octa-core processor, a
Mali-T624 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. There’s also a 13MP
camera at the back that is capable of recording 4K videos and a 5MP snapper at
the front with Full HD video.
The phone will reportedly run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which
helped it score around 38,000 points on Antutu putting it in the same league as
the HTC One M8, Samsung Galaxy S5, LG G2 and Sony Xperia Z2.
Then there’s the leaked image of a new Honor phone. There’s
no specific information on its specs, but it will likely have mid-range specs
just like its prdecessors.
