Remember the Razer Nabu smart band we saw at CES back in
January? Well, it’s finally getting into the hands of actual people, at least
for now to developers. The gamer-centric company is now offering the Nabu for
just a dollar to people who will join its hardware beta program.
Yesterday, the company started accepting applicants who will
participate in its beta program for the Razer Nabu smart band. Razer will be
choosing 500 people who will be required to provide hardware and software
feedback to the company’s engineering team once they receive the device in
July.
Razer intends to have its most “hardcore” fans to test the
Nabu and as such will give priority to users who are active on Razer’s social
channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Those who are
interested in joining the program can sign up using this link.
The company has also announced that it has started shipping
the developer edition of the Nabu to programmers who have signed up back in
January for the $50 offer when the device was first announced.
