Oppo Announces a New Mid-range Phone in China


China is getting a lot of attention these past few days. Aside from the Lenovo P70, Chinese consumers will also be getting a new Oppo mid-ranger smartphone – the Oppo 3000.


The handset has a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable onboard storage. There’s also a 5MP wide-angle selfie camera and an 8MP f/2.0, five-element lens rear camera courtesy of Sony.

Other notable specs of the Oppo 3000 include 4G LTE support, NFC, a 2000mAh battery and the company’s Color OS 2.01 that is based on Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is now available in China for around $256.
