If you don’t want to lug around a power bank in your bag
every time you go out in fear that your smartphone won’t last a day of use,
then Lenovo’s P70 or Blu Studio’s Energy should definitely give you the power
you need.
The unique selling point of the P70 is its 4000mAh power
cell, which Lenovo says can last up to 34 days on standby. The handset will
also have a 5-inch HD display, a MediaTek MT6752 64-bit chip with a 1.7GHz
octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and a MaliT760-MP2
GPU.
There’s also a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP selfie
snapper, 4G LTE connectivity (up to Cat4) and Android 4.4 KitKat out of the
box. Lenovo is already offering the P70 in China for $224 in a single color
only – Midnight Blue.
Meanwhile, Blu Studio’s Energy adds an extra 1000mAh of
oomph by getting a 5000mAh battery pack which according to the company can last
up to 4 days on regular use and 45 days on standby.
The handset also comes with a MediaTek 6582 chip with a
1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. The
5-inch display boasts a 720p resolution, while the cameras on both the back and
front have 8MP and 2MP sensors respectively.
