Another mid-range Blade smartphone debuted in Vietnam and Singapore this week. ZTE’s all new Blade D Lux has been unveiled in the two countries and is expected to reach nearby Asian markets soon.

The D Lux will be towing a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D glass on top. It also comes with a Snapdragon 410 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

Power is delivered by a 3000mAh battery. The phone also sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8MP selfie snapper, LTE connectivity and Android 5.0 or 5.1 out of the box.

The ZTE Bade D Lux is now available in Vietnam for $173 and around SGD 239 in Singapore.

ZTE has a new Blade model that’s sure to get budget-conscious folks really excited. The new Blade A1, joins the Blade S7, Blade D6, Blade S6 and the rest of the Blade family.

The phone is built around a 5-inch HD screen, a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. There’s a 13MP camera at the back, an 8MP selfie camera, a fingerprint scanner, a 2800mAh battery and Android 5.1 Lollipop with ZTE’s MiFavor 3.2 on top right out of the box.

The phone will be available in a range of colors including Smart White, Vibrant Yellow, Dream Green, Cool blue and Space Grey. The phone will retail for around CNY 599 or $93 in China and will be available this week.

Three new Blade models were introduced last week by ZTE in Russia – the Blade X9, X5 and X3, which are all designed to fit the Blade line’s target market – budget conscious consumers who want the most bang for their back.

Leading the Trio is the Blade X9 which is armed with a Snapdragon 615 chip with an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The phone also sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 13MP+5MP camera combo, a 3000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor at the back.

A notch lower, the Blade X5 sports a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a quad-core CPU, a 5-inch 720p display, an 8MP+8MP camera combo and a 2400mAh battery.

The most affordable of the bunch is the Blade X3. It has the same MediaTek chip and display as the X5. It also has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and an 8MP+2MP camera combo. The interesting feature about the X3 is that it packs a 4000mAh battery, which effectively makes the phone a spare power bank as it can charge other phones.

There’s no word yet on when the phones will be shipped but pricing details indicate that the Blade X9 will be sold at $277, while the X5 and X3 will retail for $169 and $138 respectively.

ZTE has quietly released its latest mid-range smartphone – the Blade S7, which replaces the Blade 6 that was announced earlier this year. The phone is now available for order online for $278.

The phone is built around a 5-inch 1080p display and comes with a Snapdragon 615 chipset, a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The handset also comes equipped with two 13MP cameras in the front and back, a 2500mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor.

There’s 3G connectivity as well as GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and dual SIM functionality. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which most likely will have the same treatment as its predecessor.

ZTE’s premium Axon phone now has a smaller version in China. Just like other mainstream smartphone makers, the Chinese brand has introduced a Mini ZTE Axon to join the regular and Lux models already in the market.

The phone is built around a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED full HD panel and comes with a Snapdragon 616 chipset featuring an octa-core processor, an Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, packed on a body constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum-titanium alloy.

There’s also a 13MP main camera at the back and an 8MP snapper on the front. It also supports multiple authentication options including fingerprint, voice control and eye scan.

Just like its bigger brother, the Axon Mini will be offered in a variety of colors including Ion gold, chromium silver and rose gold to different markets for a starting price of $379. There will also be a Premium Edition version that will set you back $439.

It seems ZTE is rapidly building its product line as it announces three new models in China this week. Following the announcement of new Axon phones and the Blade D6, the Chinese manufacturer has unveiled the ZTE V3 Youth, V3 Energy and V3 Extreme.

All three models will have a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chip with an Adreno 405 GPU, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. There’s also a 13M+5MP camera combo with both sensors having an f/2.2 aperture lens. Moreover, all three models will have a metal body, a 3000mAh battery and a fingerprint sensor.

The difference among the three units will be in the connectivity department. Although all three will support LTE connectivity, it’s likely that each version will support different bands.

ZTE will initially ship the V3 phones in China only (no word yet if it plans to bring the phones to other markets) starting at $160 for the V3 Youth and $210 and $240 for the Energy and Extreme version respectively.

ZTE is taking its Axon brand a notch higher by giving consumers more choices by introducing two new smartphones and even a smartwatch. Now, in contrast to the Axon model heading to the United States, these new devices will be going to the Chinese market.

For starters, we have the ZTE Axon Lux, a 5.5-inch QHD handset that sports a Snapdragon 810 chipset. The Lux is also equipped with an Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass panel, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable and a 3000mAh battery.

A 13MP sensor is situated at the back of the device (with a 2MP secondary sensor) while an 8MP snapper is placed on front for selfies. The top and bottom portion of the back cover features a faux-leather design and comes in three colors. There’s also a set biometric security features in the device including a fingerprint scanner, voice recognition and an eye scanner.

The phone will also sport NFC connectivity that will allow users to make transactions using NFC technology. The ZTE Axon Lux will be on sale in China for around $625.

If you want a smaller screen, ZTE has also unveiled the Axon Mini. It has a slightly smaller screen than the Lux at 5.2 inches. Unfortunately, its specs has not been confirmed yet.

As for the Axon watch, the wearable will have a 1.4-inch circular display that is protected by a layer of sapphire glass coating. It boasts 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.1, a 300mAh battery and IP67 certification. The watch will be exclusively sold in China and will run on Tencent OS.
