While the rebranded Vaio already has an Android phone, it seems the Japanese firm is planning to diversify as it introduced the Vaio Phone Biz – a Windows 10 Mobile Device, which the company plans to market to executives.
Specs-wise the phone is basically a mid-ranger in today’s standards. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display, a 13MP rear camera, a Snapdragon 617 chip and 3GB of RAM.
However, the main selling proposition of this phone is its build quality. Apart from the HTC One M8 for Windows, this phone is one of a few Windows-powered handsets sporting an all-metal body.
Other than what is mentioned above, there’s not much about the Vaio Phone Biz that sets it apart from the rest of the Windows Phone and Android devices in the market.
The Vaio Phone will be launching in Japan and will retail for around $400. There’s no word if the handset will reach other markets though.
