LG’s signature Android tablet trio has just been completed
with the announcement of the G Pad II 8.3. The mid-size table joins the G Pad
II 8.0
and 10.1
that were announced back in August and offers a third option in terms of screen
real estate to consumers.
As the name implies, the slate boasts an 8.3-inch display with
a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and runs on a Snapdragon 615 chipset with
2GB of RAM and 16B of expandable storage.
The tablet also has an 8MP+2MP camera combo, a 4800mAh
battery, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 /g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Android
5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and a built-in stylus.
LG will be offering the slate in a number of color options
including brown gold. The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE will be available initially in
South Korea though no specific details about the price has been confirmed yet.
