Samsung’s budget-oriented smartphone line has just welcomed a new
member that’s heading to the Indian market in the coming weeks. The company’s
Galaxy J2 is the newest addition to the Galaxy J family and will ship with improved
specs compared to its predecessors.
For starters, the J2 will have a 4.7-inch qHD Super AMOLED
panel, an Exynos 3475 chipset with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
The phone also comes with a 2000mAh battery, a 5MP camera at the back with an
f/2.2 aperture lens, a 2MP selfie snapper with an f/2.4 lens and dual-SIM
functionality.
The handset also comes with a special feature called Ultra
Data Saving mode. The said feature is said to allow the device to save up to
50% on data costs, free up to 11% of the phone’s memory and extend the battery
life.
The phone will be available starting September 21st
and will be sold for $125.
