Oppo’s Mirror phones pack pretty gorgeous looks that can
compete with any high-end model in the market. Oppo knows this so after
releasing the Mirror
3 and the R1X, the company probably thought it’s a great idea to get more
of its kind out in the market.
Enter the Mirror 5, a mid-range 5-inch phone that bears the
same triangulated glass chic as its more expensive brother. Under the hood, you’ll
find a Snapdragon 410 chip with a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM
and 16GB of expandable storage.
An 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 1.4 µm
pixel size is situated at the back of the handset. The main camera is also
capable of capturing full HD videos. Looking at the face of the Mirror 5 one
will see a 5MP selfie camera that packs some beautification software.
Connectivity-wise, the Mirror 5 has two SIM card slots,
Wi-Fi b/g/c, an IR blaster and LTE connectivity. The smartphone is also using a
2420mAh Li-Po battery and comes installed with Android 5.1 Lollipop skinned
with Color OS 2.1.
We don’t have information yet with pricing and shipping
dates. For those who want to get a screen upgrade, Oppo is also releasing a
Mirror 5S model with a 720p display.
