LG has announced an update to the mid-range device they
announced almost a year ago – the L
Bello. Just like its predecessor, the new model called the Bello II will
target a compromise between capability and affordability.
The handset gets a 5.0-inch FWVGA display and runs on
Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. A 1.3GHz quad-core processor powers the Bello II that
is complemented with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable storage. There’s an 8MP
camera at the back, a 5MP selfie snapper and a 2540mAh battery.
As with most smartphones in this category, the Bello II will
have the same set of connectivity features including Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth
v4.0, USB 2.0 and A-GPS. The camera will also sport beautifying features
including Gesture shot and Selfie flash.
There are no details yet on pricing and availability, but
the phone will be offered in four different color options including white,
titan and gold. Those in Latin American markets will have to expect the Bello
II to be sold as the Prime II though.
