Sony has a new selfie camera that of course will be
replacing the Xperia C3 – the outgoing Selfie champion in Sony’s range.
The phone is built around a 5.5-inch Full HD display, which
naturally packs a number of Sony’s TV technology including the Mobile Bravia
Engine 2 and super vivid-mode.
Performance is supplied by a 64-bit octa-core processor, a
Mali 760 MP2 graphics card, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also comes with 4G connectivity, support
for two SIM cards, a 2600mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

But of course, the main feature of this phone lies in the
camera department, specifically the front-facing one. It’s a 5MP snapper with a
25mm wide-angle lens and is complimented by Sony’s Exmor R mobile sensor, a
soft LED flash and HDR features.
There are also software enhancements on the camera that
improves selfies including Style Portrait that adds special effects to your
portraits, an AR Mask app that lets users swap faces with other people in their
selfies.
The phone will be available in black, white or green in
select markets starting June 2015 with pricing details to be announced before
the official shipping date.
