Dropbox is stepping up its efforts to make its cloud storage
solution even more powerful and collaborative as it is now opening its
commenting feature to all of its users.
The feature is especially useful for people who use the
software for sharing work files and documents. Users can now add comments to
shared files so that the people they've shared the files with will have an idea
on what the files are all about. Users will also be able to tag people in case
they need to be notified about the files.
Moreover, users who are logged in to their Dropbox accounts
will be able to see a chat window allowing for real-time communication between
co-workers (though this feature can be turned off).
The said feature was initially available for Dropbox for
Business early access users and will soon be available to web and mobile app
users soon.
