Chinese smartphone maker Meizu today announced a slightly
beefed up version of its MX4 phablet – the Exynos packing Meizu MX4 Pro.
The Pro version of the MX4 also gets a slightly bigger
display at 5.5 inches and having a resolution of 2560 x 1536 pixels and a
screen density of 542ppi. Performance is supplied by a Samsung Exynos 5430 SoC
with a 2GHz Cortex-A15 quad-core CPU combined with a 1.5GHz Cortex-A7
processor, 3GB of RAM, a Mali MP6 GPU and on-board storage ranging from 16GB to
64GB.
The MX4 Pro also comes with a 20.7MP f/2.2 IMX220 Exmor RS
sensor with dual LED flash made of course by Sony, a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing
camera featuring OmniVision OV5693 sensor, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
v4.0, LTE connectivity and Android 4.4 KitKat with Flyme 4.0 on top.
