News about Microsoft’s smartwatch has been circulation for
over a year now, but unlike those made by Samsung and Apple, the
Redmond company’s wearable is still nowhere in sight. Hopefully all that is
about to change as Forbes.com reports that the Microsoft watch is coming in a
few weeks.
Just like what we’ve heard back in May
2014, the smartwatch will work across several mobile platforms including
Android and iOS. The watch will also feature passive heart-rate monitoring
which should allow the device to save more power extending its battery life.
There’s no specific date on when Microsoft intends to announce
its wearable, but we don’t think it will take long. In fact, the company has
recently release a smartwatch keyboard for Android Wear, which might be ported
to the device’s OS upon launch.
