It looks like the Verizon-exclusive Motorola Droid Turbo might
after all escape the clasp of the American carrier as news have it that an
international version of the handset will be coming to Brazil on November 5.
Just like the model heading to Verizon customers, the global
version will have a 5.2-inch QHD display (~565ppi). Under the hood there’s a
Snapdragon 805 chip with a 2.7GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, an Adreno
420 GPU and 32GB or 64GB of non-expandable internal storage.
Motorola has used different types of materials in the
construction of the handset including a protective layer of Gorilla Glass
covered with a water-repellent nano-coating upfront and ballistic nylon or
metalized glass fiber reinforced with DuPont Kevlar at the back.
Also at the back is a 21MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture and
4k video recording capability as well as a 3900mAh battery, which according to
Motorola can last up to 48 hours of mixed usage. The phone might also carry a different name when it reaches Brazil next week. According to reports, Motorola might use the Droid Maxx monicker on the phone upon launch.
