We’ve already seen the HTC One M8 and slowly but surely, the
Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer is bound to update the rest of the One
family. So far, we’ve already heard rumours of the One
Mini’s update which we heard just a few days ago. And today, we’ve just
heard of reports saying that the successor to the HTC One Max is now in the
works.
The phablet, dubbed as the
Prime will allegedly have a 5.5-inch QHD display and a pixel
density of 534ppi. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with
a quad-core Krait CPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Unlike the earlier leaked One Mini M8, the Prime will get
the same dual-camera setup as the original M8. The primary rear camera will
have an 18MP sensor while the secondary snapper will be rated at 5MP, which
like on the original will be used for gathering depth information.
There’s no word yet on pricing and availability, but HTC is
expected to announce the phablet sometime in September.
