Nokia’s strategy on marketing its Android-powered X phones seems
to be working as the Finnish company might be working on building a follow-up
to its budget Android handsets.
A few days ago, Antutu benchmarking app captured specs of
the supposed Nokia X2. According to the Antutu benchmark app, the phone will
have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage
and an Adreno 305 GPU.
There’s also a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 480x800
pixels. The phone will be equipped with a 5MP camera at the back, a 0.3MP
camera at the front and will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Nokia’s tiled
user interface.
Just like the original Nokia X, it looks like the X2 will
still be marketed as an entry level device, probably as to not compete with the
company’s Lumia line of Windows Phone handsets.
