Samsung today announced its newest line of consumer
electronic products called Level that puts it toe-to-toe with other
manufacturers who offer premium audio goods such as Sony and Beats Audio.
The line is composed of four products – Level Over, Level
On, Level In and the Level Box. All four products were designed to work
hand-in-hand with the company’s popular line of smartphones and tablets. Hence,
each product allows the user to answer calls while listening to any type of
audio.
The Level Over is the company’s flagship over-ear headphone
that features a comfortable ergonomic design, touch controls and wireless
Bluetooth connectivity. The headphones pack 50mm Dynamic drivers made from
high-performance Neodymium, which comes equipped with 30% stronger magnets that
produce deeper and richer sound.
It also features a free edge structure made from Bio
cellulose that prevents resonance between its vibration plate and frame. It
also uses an active noise-cancellation technology that delivers clear audio to
consumers.
Level On on the other hand is Samsung’s compact style
headphone equipped with a 40mm dual layered diaphragm.
Those looking for an even streamlined look, may want to opt
for Samsung’s Level In. These are the company’s in-ear headsets that deliver an
immersive sonic environment covering all three sound ranges with clear sound
separation.
Lastly, there’s the Level Box for those who want to share
their music to their peers. The box has a 56mm speaker and a passive radiator that
delivers high quality sound, noise cancellation and echo cancellation. The box
can pair to any smart device either via NFC or Bluetooth.
Samsung has also released a companion app for its Level
products. The app is available both on Apple’s App Store and Google Play and
should provide consumers the ability to customize their audio experience
through a comprehensive EQ system called Samsung SoundAlive.
Samsung’s Level Audio products will be available next month
in different markets worldwide. Pricing information will be announced on a
later date.
