After a leak earlier today, LG has finally welcomed the
newest member of its L III series of slightly affordable Android handsets – the
LG L80.
Unveiled today in Indonesia, the LG L80 packs a 5-inch WVGA
IPS display and is powered by a Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core chipset with 1GB of
RAM, 4GB of expandable memory and a 2540mAh battery.
In the connectivity department, the L80 comes with an
optional extra SIM slot, 3G connectivity (with HSPA on SIM1), Wi-Fi, GPS,
Bluetooth v4.0 and FM radio. The phone features a 5MP camera with LED flash at
the back and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with LG’s Optimus UI on top.
The phone will be offered in either black or white and will
be available in Indonesia for around$214. LG has yet to announce international
availability
