LG has bet Motorola to the punch as news regarding the
availability of its Android-wear-powered G Watch was announced yesterday.
A recent report by Pocket-lint.com shows the final prototype
hardware of the LG G Watch in a special event in Weybridge in the UK. The
prototype unit shown to Pocket-lint wasn’t at all functional but shows the
closest hardware design that the consumer version of the watch will have.
Based on the images posted online showed a squarish design
and a button-less face. Just like the Pebble Steel, the LG G Watch will give users
the option to swap the band of their choice. Moreover, it looks like the G
Watch will be a bit larger than the Samsung Gear 2. LG also mentioned that
future versions of the watch may come with a circular watch face.
