A new genre of gaming that combines classic role playing genres
and strategy games will soon be heading to Philippine shores to provide gamers
all over the archipelago with a new gaming experience that evoke both
imagination and critical thinking.
Termed as Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Hybrid or MORPH,
this new gaming genre allows users to enjoy the classic role playing elements
of a game but at the same time allows users to take command of a massive army
for a truly and entertaining experience.
One such game to feature this design is Kingdom Under Fire
II which was developed by Leadhope Digital Inc. – a subsidiary of a Hong
Kong-based company of the same name.
The game allows users to choose a faction to join and
develop their avatar as well as control a legion of monsters, mercenaries and
more throughout the game. Gamers can choose to be Human, Exiles and Dark
Alliance and build their reputation through different campaigns in the game.
KUF2 also has some multiplayer functionality in which a user
can challenge other players in various events such as PVP Battlegrounds,
Gladiator Arenas and Castle Wars. And just like other Role playing games in the
past, Kingdom Under Fire II features item and armour enhancements, Gem
socketing and weapons crafting.
Kingdom Under Fire 2 is expected to be unveiled this month by Leadhope Digital Inc and will initially start as an Elite Closed Beta test with only a handful of special guests invited. This will be followed by an Open Beta test which will allow anyone who has previously registered to join the game and finally a commercial launch which features the opening of the Cash Item Shop that sells virtual items for real cash.
Leadhope Digital Inc’s Kingdom Under Fire II will be
available both for the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
