Following Lenovo’s
slipup yesterday, HP has also made the opportune error today by prematurely
posting a slider image of an Android-powered notebook called the SlateBook 14
on its website.
Although the slider image has already been taken down on the
company’s website, the photo was able to reveal a few details about the
notebook’s feature set. For starters, (and if in case you didn’t get the clue
from the device’s name) the notebook boasts a 14-inch touchscreen display with
Full HD display.
The photo also reveals an island-type keyboard, a microSD
card slot, three USB ports and a HDMI connector. Moreover, the notebook will
reportedly run on a quad-core processor by Nvidia and will pack 2GB of RAM,
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Beats Audio and even a SIM card slot for cellular
connectivity.
There’s no information yet on what version of Android the
notebook will run, but with Google I/O just a few weeks away, we might be able
to get more information as the event draws nearer, so stay tuned.
