LG has just unveiled its next-generation G Watch ahead of
Mobile World Congress. The new device is called the Watch Urbane and tries to
appeal to fashion-forward consumers with a more stylish design.
The Watch Urbane comes with narrower screen bezels, a
stainless steel body with polished gold or silver finish and stitched leather
band. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip with a 1.2GHz
processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage.
LG has equipped the Watch Urbane with a 1.3-inch P-OLED
display with a resolution of 320x320 pixels, has IP67 certification and comes
with a 410mAh battery.
There’s no word yet on pricing and availability but we’ll
certainly get more information in a couple of weeks in Barcelona at MWC 2015.
