Budget smartphones with LTE connectivity is becoming a thing
these days. The latest brand to join the trend is the Chinese tech giant, ZTE
with its Blade S6.
The handset is built around a 5-inch IPS LCD panel with 720p
resolution. Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 615 chip that offers 64-bit
computing with an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an Adreno 405 GPU and 16GB
of on-board storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
There’s also a 13MP camera at the back, made by Sony and a
5MP selfie camera with a wide-angle lens. Connectivity-wise, the Blade Z6 is
equipped with LTE that goes up to 150Mbps, two nano SIM card slots, Wi-Fiac and
Bluetooth v4.0.
The handset will run on a special version of Android 5.0
Lollipop, which ZTE calls MiFavor. The Blade S6 will retail for $250 once it
becomes available in the coming weeks.
