After months and months of waiting, Samsung has finally
unveiled its long-awaited Tizen-powered smartphone. The handset is called the Z1
and will initially launch in India for just $92.
The handset is sporting quite unique specifications. The Z1
has a 4-inch WVGA display, a Spreatrum SC7727S chip with a 1.2GHz dual-core
processor, a Mali 400 GPU, 768MB of RAM and 4GB of expandable storage.
There’s a 3.1MP camera at the back, a VGA selfie camera on
the front, dual SIM support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G connectivity and a
1500mAh battery. Samsung has also installed its own AntiVirus software on the
Z1 plus a number of other features including an Ultra Power Saving mode and a
SOS alerts.
