HP’s slate line has grown extensively throughout the years. And this week, the American PC maker is adding three new models offering different screen sizes for consumers with various requirements.
Leading the charge is the HP Pro Slate 8 and Pro Slate 12. Both tablets will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and 2GB of RAM. The Slate 12 will have a 12.3-inch display with a resolution of 1600x1200 (~163ppi), while the Slate 8 will of course have a smaller 7.9-inch display offering a screen resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels that equates to a screen density of 324ppi.
Moreover, both models will come with innovative stylus called the Duet Pen that acts like a normal pen but acts as a digitizer by transferring notes or doodles created by the user.
For those looking for a more traditional stylus and a screen size that fits between a full-size tablet and a smaller tablet, then HP’s got you covered with the Pro Slate 10 EE. In contrast to the two other models, the 10-inch model will come with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
