ZTE recently announced a new handset under Boost Mobile –
the ZTE Speed, which costs just $99.99. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 chip with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB
of expandable storage.
There’s also a 4.5-inch display with an unspecified
resolution, a 5MP rear camera with HRD and LED flash, a 2MP front-facing
snapper and a 2000mAh battery. The Speed will be equipped with 4G LTE and will
run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
There’s no word yet if ZTE will bring the Speed to other
markets but with a price tag of just $99.99 without contract, we’re pretty sure
that a lot of people will be wishing the company will.
