The LG G Pad 8.3 has enjoyed considerable amount of success
ever since its launch last year thanks to its elegant and minimalist design and
feature-filled specs sheet. However, the G Pad pales in comparison with Samsung’s
Galaxy Tab and Note series that have dominated the Android tablet community for
quite some time now.
LG is looking to change all that by providing consumers with
more choices by beefing up their tablet line-up. The Korean manufacturer is
slated to announce three new tablets at this year’s MedPi event in Monaco.
The tablet trio will be comprised of the G Pad 7.0, 8.0 and
10.1. As their names imply, the tablets will sport a 7-, 8- and 10.1-inch
displays respectively. According to LG’s press statement, the G Pad 7.0 is
designed for one-handed use and will be the company’s smallest tablet that
delivers both portability and power.
The G Pad 8.0, on the other hand, is designed as a mid-sized
tablet that offers an immersive multimedia experience and smooth multitasking.
And lastly, the G Pad 10.1 having the largest display and battery should provide
consumers with long hours of entertainment and fun.
LG is also including some of its proprietary UX features
such as QPair 2.0 and Knock Code. Additional details of the three new tablets
including their specifications, pricing and availability will be given in the
coming weeks.
