Lenovo’s Vibe
P1, which was announced at IFA last year is getting an upgrade in this week
in the form of the Vibe P1 Turbo.
On the outside, the Vibe P1 Turbo remains practically
identical to last year’s model, but on the inside its sporting improved
components including a Snapdragon 615 chipset which now has 3GB of RAM over the
2GB from the Vibe P1.
There’s also 32GB of on-board storage which can be expanded
with a microSD card. The phone has a 5.5-inch Full HD display and still packs
the same 5000mAh battery which now supports Quick Charge 2.0.
At the back of the device is a 13MP sensor with dual-LED
flash while a 5MP snapper sits on the front. Lenovo has also added a
fingerprint reader, dual SIM functionality as well as LTE connectivity into the
mix.
The handset is now available for pre-order in Indonesia for
around $290 in three color options: Silver, Graphite Gray and Gold.
