Huawei has just announced a new budget smartphone in India
this week – the Honor Holly 2 which packs a 64-bit MediaTek processor.
The Honor Holly 2 sports a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a
quad-core processor, a Mali 720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal
storage. The phone is built around a 5-inch HD IPS display and also sports a
13MP+5MP camera combo.
A 4000mAh battery is situated in the back while connectivity
is handled by a 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS (with GLONASS) radios. The entire
handset is made from polycarbonate with a textured design and will likely
retail for around $145 in India. There's no word yet on international pricing and availability though.
