Huawei’s been very busy lately working on some new devices.
One of which is the Honor 7i, which was recently released in China this week.
The device might be a mid-ranger in terms of specs, but Huawei has made sure
that its packing some features that’s worthy of the public’s spotlight.
The most interesting feature of the Honor 7i would have to
be its fingerprint sensor and a swivel camera. Although these two features have
been present on a lot of mid-range and high-end models from different
manufacturers, Huawei has tried a different approach on implementing these tech
into the Honor 7i.
The swiveling camera is a 13MP BSI sensor from Sony with a
28mm lens. According to Huawei, you can swivel it up to 132 times a day for two
years and it will be just fine. The phone’s fingerprint sensor is placed on the
side of the phone and activates by simply touching it with the user’s thumb.
Looking at the rest of the phone’s specs sheet, you’ll find
a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 616 chip with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of
expandable storage. There’s also going to be a 2GB/16GB version for those who
want a more affordable option. The handset also comes with a 3000mAh battery
and the company’s EMUI 3.1 skin on top.
