It looks like manufacturers are now expanding the reach of
LTE beyond the top tier models. Samsung for instance has released an entry-level
smartphone just a few days ago packing an AMOLED display and LTE
connectivity. But if you’re looking for a slightly bigger screen and better
specs, then LG’s F60 might be the smartphone for you.
It has a 4.5-inch IPS screen with a WVGA resolution and a
screen density of 207ppi. Under the hood, there’s a 1.2GHz quad-core processor,
1GB of RAM and up to 8GB of internal storage.
At the back of the device is a 5MP camera while a 1.3MP
snapper sits at the front. The F60 will also be packing a number of software
features found in other LG handsets including Knock Code and Gesture Shot for
easier selfies.
Other notable features of the device include Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, a 2100mAh battery and of course LTE connectivity. There
are no specific details yet on pricing and availability, but the phone will be
offered in two color options: Black or White.
