Lenovo’s Yoga line of tablets might have slacked off
compared to the Galaxies, MeMOs and G Pads in the market, but the Taiwanese
electronics giant is hoping to turn over a new leaf with its new Yoga Tablet 2
Pro slates that give users a choice between Android and Windows as an operating
system.
First there’s the 13-inch model which comes with a 2560 x
1440 pixel screen, an Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera,
32GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card, 15
hours of battery life, dual watt 1.5 speakers and a 5 watt subwoofer from JBL.
The 13-inch model also comes with its built-in pico projector
that allows the tablet to project 50-inch images into a wall. Moreover, the
tablet’s new kickstand has a hole in it so you can hang it from a wall while
you’re doing something.
Now if the 13-inch Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is just too big for
you, Lenovo is still offering an 8-inch and 10-inch versions, which runs either
Android 4.4 or Windows 8.1. Both tablets pack an Intel atom chipset with a
1.33GHz quad-core processor, a 1920 x 1200 resolution display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB
of on-board storage, an 8MP+1.6MP camera combo and of course Bluetooth v4.0 and
Wi-Fi.
The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro 13-inch will be available this
month for around $500. The 8-inch and 10-inch Android version will be priced at
$250 and $300 respectively, while the 8-inch and 10-inch Windows version will
sell for $300 and $400 respectively.
