Tablet sales especially those from local brands are really
picking in the Philippines, thanks especially on the tablets’ affordable
pricing and capable specs. One specific brand who’s now offering a very
attractive product bundle to consumers is Cloudfone with their new 7-inch
tablet – the Epic.
The tablet is now being offered by Globe, one of the
Philippines’ top networks bundled with a CloudFone Excite 400dx and a Bluetooth
keyboard. The slate is packing an Intel Atom Z2520 chipset with a 1.2GHz
dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage.
The 7-inch display has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels
that equates to a screen density of 169ppi. There’s also a 2MP camera at the
back and a VGA snapper at the front. The Epic 7.0 will be launching with
Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, USB OTG and a 3000mAh battery.
The Cloudfone Epic 7.0 will be offered on Globe’s
MySuperPlan 499 with free 100MB of internet, calls and texts to all networks,
all-month access to productivity apps including Gmail, Yahoo mail and Evernote
as well as 10GB of Globe cloud storage.
