Huawei’s line of Honor devices is quite a weird mix of smartphones of budget and mid-range models. Now the lineup is adding a new item in the mix – an 8-inch tablet simply called the Huawei Honor tablet.
The slate is packing a Snapdragon 200 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. The 8-inch display of the tablet has a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
There’s a 5MP camera at the back of the device while a VGA snapper sits up front. The slate comes equipped with a 4800mAh battery as well as 3G connectivity. Software-wise, Huawei has installed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6.
The Huawei Honor tablet will be available for pre-order starting today initially in Malaysia for around $184.
