LG Continues Churning Out G3 Variants
Saturday, August 09, 2014
LG is definitely beefing up the G3 brand by releasing several variants of its flagship phone just like what Samsung is doing for its phones. This week, the Korean company announced two phones – the G3 A and the G3 Stylus.
The G3 A comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC with a 2.26GHz quad-core CPU, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with support for microSD card expansion. There’s also a 13MP camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus, LTE-A connectivity and a 2610mAh removable battery.
The phone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat and will be offered in white and titanium colours. The G3 A will soon be available in Korea for around 720,000 Won or around $680.
Now, there’s also the G3 Stylus which was informally announced by LG through a promotional material for its other G3 variant – the Beat. As the name implies, the phone will tout its own stylus just like the Galaxy Note 4 though it won’t be able to match its specs.
And speaking of specs, the G3 Stylus will have a 5.7-inch HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, an 8MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage.
As the G3 Stylus isn’t officially announced yet, there’s no word yet on pricing and availability.
