Lenovo Announces New Flagship Smartphone

A few weeks ago details about Lenovo’s upcoming flagship smartphone leaked online, which was accompanied by various photos including those from a company executive. This week, the Taiwanese electronics giant has finally unveiled the new Vibe Z2 Pro.
The phablet is built around a 6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 500-nits of brightness. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 330 GPU and 32GB of on-board storage.

The phone has a 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, dual-LED flash and 4K video recording capability. There’s also a 4000mAh battery as well as a SIM tray that can hold two cards (one LTE and one GSM). The Vibe Z2 Pro will run on Android 4.4 with the company's Vibe UI on top.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro should be available by September in three color options: black, gold and white with a price tag close to $834.
