Adidas has finally made the miCoach Fit Smart official. The
device was unveiled during the 2014 Wearable Technologies Conference in San
Francisco a few days ago.
Just like what earlier rumors suggested, the miCoach Fit Smart is capable of tracking a user’s burned calories, heart rate, distance covered, pace and other fitness stats. The band is made from silicone while the fitness tracker’s display features a strip of LEDs that can change color depending on the intensity of the workout.
The miCoach Fit Smart also packs the same miCoach platform
that acts as a user’s personal trainer helping consumers set weekly goals and
training plans using data derived from Adidas’ collaboration with coaches and
athletes.
The Adidas miCoach fit smart will be available next month in
either black or white for around $199.
