If you’re looking for a budget Android tablet that packs the
most real estate, then Acer’s Iconia 10 will definitely be a top contender.
The tablet is packing a 10.1-inch display and will come in
two versions. On one hand, there’s a WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels), a
MediaTek chipset with a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of
built-in storage (expandable). There’s also a slightly watered-down version
that boasts a 1280 x 800 pixel screen, 1GB of RAM and a 1.3Gz quad-core
processor.
There’s a 2MP camera on the front and a rear camera whose
resolution is yet to be determined. Other notable features of the Iconia 10
include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 as well as a 5700mAh battery
(5910mAh for the WUXGA version).
Acer will equip the Iconia 10 with Android 4.4 KitKat and
will sell them starting at $250 for the WUXGA version and $200 for the 1280 x
800 variant.
